New Wine 2020 National Accessibility Conference – PRESTON

Additional needs are wide ranging and include anything that prevents someone from participating in an activity, such as physical disability, mental health needs, illness or undiagnosed needs. We want to make sure our church communities are places which recognise and welcome the value of what everyone brings to God’s kingdom; helping every individual to contribute. Part of creating an accessible church can also involve working alongside individuals such as those who are ex-offenders, or have abused substances and may be rough sleeping. Some of the seminars within the conference will enable us to explore this

This one day conference will empower church leaders, volunteers and communities to make church more accessible and inclusive for individuals with additional needs. The day will include both teaching and practical application as well as ideas for how to make your local church accessible for all children, youth and adults. Please note there will be BSL interpretation on the day.
